Adrian embarked upon his business career after graduating with a BA (Honours) in Geography from Durham University and a MSc in Geographical Information Systems from the University of Edinburgh.

His first job, at Pinpoint Analysis Limited, was short-lived. Within a year of starting, his first employer was taken over by another London-based market analysis, GIS software and data consultancy. The new buyers kept only Pinpoint’s Managing Director, a few sales people and the client list.

Undeterred, Adrian and his work colleagues incorporated their first company, Business Geographics Limited, the next day. He has gone on to found or co-found several more companies and enjoyed working in highly varied situations for both his own enterprises and his own customers, including some of the largest ‘blue-chips’ in the UK.

    Co-founded with Tony Sellen and Ryley Best on 30th January 2002, Allegran Limited developed Business to Consumer (‘B2C’) websites, including a daily ‘Win £1 million’ lottery (Loopylotto.co.uk was the 5th most popular ‘Gambling’ site in 2003) and a series of fast-growing and highly profitable, geo-enabled, online dating sites.
